As someone that is almost done completing college, I can't help but constantly think about my future. However, after a few internships I realized that I may not be fit for the corporate world. I would rather work in an autonomous manner with little supervision and with little or no commute. That's why I would rather make money at home.
I already make money at home. In fact, I make money on the internet. I'm a blogger for a company. This allows me to exercise my writing skills and challenge myself everyday. I've always wanted to be a writer, since it's been something I've always felt talented in. This is definitely a way to get my writing fix.
Blogging is a great way to make extra money, but some people have made it their complete career. I've read about people who have made six figures when they write to make money on the internet.
However, blogging isn't always easy work. Many of the wealthiest bloggers work as hard as anyone in the conventional career world. The man who made six figures has to work 60+ hours a week.
When deciding to make money on the internet, you need to assess your own goals and your own time frame. That way, you can figure out what's best for your career- and for yourself.
